It's not a damn eating disorder

Ok, pet peeve time. Actually, scratch that. Goofy, ignorant, bullshit time. And you'll only here this opinion from soft ass people who have zero grasp on accountability. And normally I'd opt to refute the issue first. But not this time, I'm going straight to ad hominem with zero regard otherwise. Because this pisses me off so bad, and the people who spout this "argument" are so full of shit I can barely dignify them with a rebuttal. Because they've already shown that logic has left the chat.
But I digress. In certain sections of the internet and so-called fitness community you'll see creators saying that, 'tracking your macros, calorie intake, and portions is an eating disorder." And fuck... that gets under my skin. Because not only is it not true. It's dishonest and it confuses people. Especially people who are already struggling with getting in shape.
IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW MUCH YOU'RE EATING OR SHOULD BE EATING, IT'S GOING TO BE NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO CHANGE AND IMPROVE!!
Think of the scientific method. Your nutrition is your independent variable. It's the one you change and modify. But how can you manage what you don't measure? You can't. And if you've fallen victim to these misinformation campaigns I'm sorry. I can help you get back on track.
•Here's the thing...
The disorder is the lack of order. The lack of structure. And regardless of your goal you need ordered eating to help you get in shape. Again, what gets measured gets managed. Moreover, LOOK at the people that say these things. If you wouldn't trade bodies with them, don't listen to their misinformation for even a second.
And it's not hard. Tracking food, weighing portions, none of this stuff is hard. I can teach you how to do all of it. We can take the guesswork out and make it plug-and-play.
Sorry for the cursing, but the level of dishonesty from people is dangerous and infuriating. Structured nutrition can save lives. And I'm passionate about helping people live and feel better. I CARE. I LOVE people. I love the process. Period.
